Lions’ Lair is Enactus BCIT’s longest running project. It began in 2008 and has been improving the livelihood of local entrepreneurs ever since. Every year the Lions’ Lair project accepts between 10 to 15 business owners/entrepreneurs, and involves between 15 and 35 student volunteers. Historically, this project’s strengths have been the result of strong buy-in from the community, BCIT’s faculty, and BCIT students.

In the past 8 years, the Lions’ Lair project has empowered more than 70 local entrepreneurs to build and grow their small businesses. This project was created to address the reality that not all good business ideas turn into successful businesses; often all that is needed is a better understanding of fundamental business practices and access to knowledgeable consultants with fresh perspectives. This project aims to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary business skills and tools to effectively grow their businesses. We want to see our local start-ups and small businesses prosper.
