Plan, organize, and oversee external-facing events such as networking nights, industry panels, and community showcases.

Work closely with the Sponsorship and Marketing teams to promote events and maximize attendance.
Ensure events run smoothly by managing logistics, budgets, and volunteer support.

Job Summary:
The Team Lead oversees the redevelopment of Ecometer, guiding the project’s technical direction and ensuring its successful rebuild into a modern web application. This role combines leadership and hands-on technical expertise, balancing innovation with sustainability. You’ll help keep the team accountable, coordinate resources, and act as the bridge between the exec team and the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the rebuild of Ecometer in a modern JavaScript framework, porting the legacy site into a reimagined web app.
Lead and support team members, ensuring accountability for deliverables.
Communicate project feasibility and direction to the executive team.
Manage access to project platforms, tools, and systems.
Ensure the project roadmap aligns with club goals and available resources.
Qualifications:
Experience leading small teams and managing collaborative projects.
Full stack development knowledge and experience in any ecosystem.
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
Understanding of MVC architecture (Rails, Django, Laravel, etc.); Ruby on Rails is a plus.
SQL proficiency, with current use of PostgreSQL.

This role involves building scalable features, writing clean and sustainable code, and contributing to documentation that supports long-term success. You’ll play an essential role in transforming ideas into a functioning, impactful tool.Key Responsibilities:
Write, test, and document clean code for the Ecometer platform.
Break down epics into actionable user stories and implement solutions.
Support the migration from legacy systems to modern frameworks.
